LTU Multan unearths Rs200m tax evasion by a factory
ISLAMABAD: The Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) Multan of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has detected alleged sales tax evasion amounting to around Rs 200 million during scrutiny of records seized from a registered factory of Multan. According to FBR sources, the tax liability surfaced during detailed scrutiny of sales, purchase and tax records, computer data and other documents seized during a search operation carried out at the industrial unit under a search warrant.
