Tax returns: Pakistan banks to extend working hours on Sept 30
Commercial banks in Pakistan will keep all their branches open until 10:00pm on Wednesday, September 30, to facilitate over-the-counter (OTC) payment of government duties and taxes. According to a statement from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the decision was taken at the request of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to facilitate taxpayers in making payments on the last day of September.
