Palm oil falls for second session on weaker rivals By Bernadette Christina
JAKARTA: Malaysian palm oil futures fell for a second straight session on Monday, weighed down by weaker rival vegetable oils in Chicago and Dalian, though losses were limited by stronger crude oil prices and a softer ringgit. The benchmark palm oil contract for December delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was down 13 ringgit, or 0.28%, at 4,659 ringgit ($1,141.91) a metric ton, trading in a tight range between 4,653 ringgit and 4,720 ringgit. The contract dropped 4.61% last week.
