Pakistan’s insurers settle over 1mn claims in 2025: SECP
Pakistan’s insurers settled more than one million motor, accident and health, and fire and property claims in 2025, according to figures published for the first time by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). Its Insurance Industry Statistics Report 2025 also shows gross life insurance claims of Rs410 billion and non-life claim payments of approximately Rs138 billion, bringing the scale of claims across the two sectors into sharper focus.
