NCCIA books PTI’s Junaid over ‘anti-state’ remarks
ISLAMABAD: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on Wednesday registered a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and provincial president Junaid Akbar over his remarks about turning Islamabad into Somnath in connection with the party’s planned September 27 protest in the capital. The NCCIA’s Cyber Crime Reporting Centre registered the first information report (FIR) under Sections 9, 10 and 11 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
