Muslim, European countries seek negotiated solutions to regional conflicts
Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, collectively referred to as the R4, along with France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, have called for urgent efforts to address regional conflicts through dialogue, diplomacy and de-escalation. The understanding was reached at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the eight countries in Istanbul, according to a joint press release issued after the talks.
