Govt further increases petrol price by Rs2.31, diesel by Re0.78 per litre
Pakistan government further increased the price of petrol by Rs2.31 per litre to Rs398.96 and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Re0.78 to Rs395.72 per litre, effective for Friday, October 9, 2026. According to a Petroleum Division notification, the price of petrol was raised from Rs396.65 to Rs398.96 per litre, while the price of diesel was increased from Rs394.94 to Rs395.72 per litre.
