Goods transporters announce countrywide strike starting from 10th
ISLAMABAD: The All-Pakistan Goods Transporters Association has given the government an ultimatum to approve its charter of demands and announced a countrywide transport strike from October 10, 2026. The announcement was made following a meeting chaired by Nabeel Mehmood Tariq, president of the association. In a statement issued after a meeting, transporters demanded the immediate release of containers and vehicles allegedly detained during protests and sit-ins.
