Every consumable, tracked to the unit.
For hospitals where high-value stock moves between a central warehouse, departmental stores and the point of use. Know where each item is, who it was used on, and what it bills at.
Built for cath labs, operating theatres, ICU, endoscopy and radiology — anywhere stock is serialised.
What ships today
Two modules are built and running end to end. The database, the audit ledger and the billing logic underneath them cover the whole supply chain, so the remaining screens are configuration and scope rather than invention.
Warehouse goods-in
Receive vendor stock, serialise every single unit, generate and print barcode labels, then issue down to the departmental store. Each unit gets its own identity the moment it arrives.
Procedure scan terminal
Scan the patient wristband, then scan items as they are opened. The engine resolves Used, Return and Reuse in one action — scan the same barcode twice and it comes off the bill. Live running total as you go.
Append-only stock ledger
Every movement of every unit is written to an immutable ledger. Nothing is ever overwritten, so a stock count can always be reconciled back to what actually happened.
Roles and hardening
Warehouse, nursing and admin roles with separate access. Prepared statements throughout, CSRF on every state change, bcrypt passwords, and hardened sessions that regenerate on login.
Store and sub-store screens
The schema already models medical store, sub-stores and nurse charge. The screens are built to match how your departments actually hand stock over, because no two hospitals do it the same way.
Billing matrix and reporting
Patient entitlement categories and the billing matrix are configurable data, not hard-coded. Procedure expense reports and dashboards are shaped to what your finance office needs to sign off.
Why unit-level matters
A box count cannot answer the question
When a consultant asks which stent went into which patient, or an auditor asks why three were opened and one billed, a quantity-on-hand figure is useless. A serial number answers both immediately.
Two staff scanning at once
Movements are written inside locked transactions, so simultaneous scans in two rooms cannot corrupt a count or double-bill a unit. This is the part that quietly breaks in spreadsheet-based systems.
Ordinary scanners
Works with any keyboard-wedge barcode scanner and standard wristband barcodes. No proprietary readers, no vendor lock, no per-device licence.
Your server
PHP and MySQL on your own hardware or hosting. Patient data never leaves your building unless you decide it should.
